About the event
Welcome to the 3rd Annual Leap for Literacy Walkathon, proudly hosted by the Mqhele Yezizwe Foundation.
Following two years of community support, we are returning to the secure trails of the Modderfontein Reserve. This isn’t just a scenic morning walk, it is a collective stride toward changing lives. 100% of the proceeds generated from this event go directly toward the learning center container we are building and equipping with the necessary resources.
Your all-inclusive ticket covers access to the secure parking, hiking trails, access to the picnic area, beautiful Modderfontein Reserve hiking trails, a hydration pack and a finisher's token. You are completely free to stay at the park for the rest of the day! Bring your picnic blankets and baskets to braai, relax and bond with your family and the wider Mqhele community.
Book donations: We will be running an onsite book collection drive on the morning. Feel free…
